Switched from my usual trail runners and these handled the rocky path just as well as a proper hiker—the sole is firm but not clunky. They’re light enough I forgot to change out of them for my afternoon errands.

Wore these straight from the box on a muddy Saturday trail loop and they handled the climbs without a single slip, then cleaned up fine for a quick errand run after. The transition from workout to trail is seamless, exactly what I hoped for.

The grip on wet rocks during my morning hike was surprisingly solid. Only wish the insole had a bit more arch support for longer treks. Overall, a versatile shoe for light trail and gym use.
