These boots were dry and comfortable straight out of the box on a soggy trail, and the waterproofing held up perfectly through a creek crossing. I love that they have a lighter feel than my old heavy hiking boots while still offering good ankle support on uneven terrain.

Took these out for a long day hike and they felt broken-in from the first step. The mid-height ankle support gave me good stability on rocky sections, and my feet stayed totally dry splashing through a few streams.
