Took these on a weekend trip and they were comfortable right out of the box—no breaking in needed. The free-moving cords really do adapt as you walk, and the roasted pecan color goes with everything.

The cords really do mold around my wide feet instead of pinching like regular laces, and the leather panels keep them from feeling too flimsy. I've worn them all summer without any rubbing or blisters.

Wore these on a two-week trip with lots of walking and my feet never once felt cramped, which is rare for me. The leather panels give just enough structure so they don't flop around like pure cord sandals, and they still breathe in the heat.
