The 90° heel really locks you in on ladder rungs and sloped roofs—zero slip all week. Even after eight hours of wet concrete, my socks stayed bone-dry thanks to that waterproofing. And I almost forgot I had aluminum toes on until I dropped a steel beam on them.

These are the first boots I’ve owned with a 90° heel, and the grip on muddy slopes is noticeably better than my old pair. The aluminum toe is light enough that I don’t feel sluggish after a full day on site. Waterproofing held up through a morning of puddles without any dampness.
