Finally got these after eyeing them for weeks, and the shiny black leather is even sleeker in person than online. They’re surprisingly comfortable right out of the box, and the climbing-inspired sole gives great grip on slick pavement.

Swapping in the second pair of laces took under a minute, and the shiny leather wipes clean with a damp cloth after a muddy commute. They’ve handled three weeks of daily city walking without a scuff, and the sole grips surprisingly well on wet pavement.

The shiny black leather catches light beautifully in the city, yet the climbing-inspired sole still gives me great grip on slick subway grates. I've already worn them from morning meetings straight to dinner without any foot fatigue.
