Put these through a muddy creek on day one and they never let a drop in. The synthetic upper is noticeably lighter than my old leather boots, but the grip on wet rocks felt just as solid.

Wore these straight out of the box on a rocky descent, and the streamlined upper felt more nimble than my old clunky pair—no break-in blisters at all. The rugged synthetic held up fine against loose scree, and they’re noticeably lighter on the foot, which makes a long day feel shorter.
