I took these on a muddy 8-mile loop and my feet stayed bone dry the whole time, even when I stepped straight into a puddle. The traction on wet rocks was surprisingly solid, and they didn’t need much breaking in.

The ankle support is just right — not too stiff but definitely kept me stable on loose rocks. My feet stayed completely dry after crossing a few shallow streams, which was the main reason I bought these. They were comfortable right out of the box with no break-in period needed.

Took these boots out on a muddy trail and my feet stayed completely dry through several creek crossings. The grip on wet rocks was impressive and they didn't feel heavy at all, which I was worried about for a waterproof boot.
