Took these out for a three-mile hike right after unboxing and there was zero break-in period, which never happens with boots. The waterproofing held up through a couple of muddy creek crossings without a hint of dampness. Color looks even better in person than the photos.

I was a little worried about breaking them in, but the out-of-the-box comfort is real—wore them on a rocky trail right away with no blisters. The waterproofing held up great through a few wet morning hikes. Only wish the laces were a bit longer for a better knot.

These fit true to size and were comfortable right out of the box for my hike—no break-in period needed. I wish the ankle support was a tiny bit stiffer for rocky terrain, but the waterproofing kept my feet dry through a few creek crossings.
