I was a little skeptical about the roomy toe box, but it made all the difference on a long downhill stretch—no pinching at all. The KEEN.ReGENX foam really does absorb impact well, making rocky trails feel much less jarring. My feet stayed completely dry through a few muddy puddles, too.

After two full days of hiking with a loaded pack, the high-rebound foam in the soles still felt springy on the descent, which honestly surprised me. The vintage indigo color got compliments on the trail, and the waterproofing held up through a creek crossing without a single damp sock.

Took these on a muddy trail right out of the box and they were comfortable with zero break-in. The high-rebound foam in the sole really makes a difference on rocky ground, and the roomy toe box kept my feet from cramping on the descent.
