Took these on a short hike right out of the box and they were comfortable immediately—no break-in period needed. The canvas upper breathes well in warm weather, and the sole has good grip on loose gravel.

The canvas upper has this nice, structured feel that still breathes well on warmer days. I wore them on a rocky trail and then straight to brunch without changing shoes, and they cleaned up easily with just a damp cloth.
