I love how the half-height upper lets my feet breathe on hot days while still feeling secure. The grippy outsole handles pavement and trails equally well, no slipping.

The z-strap tightens up way better than the velcro sandals I've had before, and my feet stay put even on uneven trails. The half-height upper really does let the breeze through, though I did have to fiddle with the straps the first couple wears to get them dialed in.
